Been new to the diesel cars, is there any noticeable difference using shell v power diesel.

Is it worth paying the extra ?

Don't waste you money mate. Throw some additive in once in a while and will do the same. Don't bother paying the extra 6/7p a litre.

Been discussed in here and elsewhere numerous times.

I use V Power and BP Ultimate.

Needs time to work in the system IMO, but there is a slight diffrence. No quicker, but feels more responsive on the throttle and feels smoother. Need empty the tank with the current fuel, and then refill with the better fuel, give it a 100 miles to work.

That's my findings.

I use VPower Nitro plus and its good as I find it lasts longer. I tend to mix it 3 tanks to one of tescos a month. Thats only to use my fuel save each month though.

I Have a look at the test BP did with their ultimate fuels. Bench tested 2 engines one with normal bp and another with ultimate. Can't remember how long they ran them for but the one running with ultimate was like brand new inside compared to the standard fuel. I always run on vpower for the simple fact it makes the car burbel more :). Also ran the old tdci fiesta on vpower and did notice ot sounded "less rough"

Diesel rhino. You won't be disappointed. Up to 60 miles extra from a tank. Plus only costs about 2p a litre compared to 8p

I know a few who have, including someone who's opinion and judgement i trust (someone in to TDI mapping). It gives a similar result to Vpower and works out cheaper once you get the 3:2:1 purge out of the way. Less diesel knock and reduced smoke levels when compared to cheap supermarket fuels.

If you don't run Vpower then i'd recommend trying this, just don't use both at the same time

Just don't spill it as it stinks. It's alot cheaper if you buy the 2.5l bottle. Seems expensive when you look at prices but will last along time as only need 50ml per tank after the load up phase

Yeah on my second bottle. When i first started using it I got 3mpg extra and initially was 60 miles up on the first half of the tank. By the end I was about 20 miles extra however my turbo was dying then. I've bought the big bottle this time but only just started using it again. Everyone recommends it, you wont be disappointed.

I noticed less smoke better running, less pedal travel required and a slight change in engine tone.
