Good HIDs for mk2?

Hey guys, I have a full led interior and exterior set, and my parking lights are so much whiter than the main lights and now it looks stupid, I bought some Philips white halogens (expecting them to be white as it says) but they're the same yellowy tinge as the stock ones.

My question is, as my lights are reflectors are there any good HIDs with will be an actual white (4300k to 5000k), H7 which won't make me an idiot going around blinding anyone? Cheers

You'll need H7R's to not blind people. Most people go for the HIDs-Direct terminator kit.

You can find cheaper ones on eBay though which will do the same job.

Personally I would go for 4300k which will be the same as OEM xenon. Wouldn't go above 5000k.

That's correct mate h7R for reflector and h7 for projector type headlights.

Anyone know how I should go about mounting the ballasts?

It seems a lot of people just put them on the wheel arch both sides I'd just do that and use zip ties if possible

Just had a quick look, I noticed that the 55w set is only £1 more than the 35w...

Is it worth getting that instead? Bare in mind I don't want super bright lights, I just want them to be as close as my LED parking lights as possible.

35W will be fine mate the ones in Dans link are perfect you can get cheaper ones but as a rule of thumb it's not always the best way to go.Sometimes what you buy for cheap you end up buying twice.

Yeah would be great please. Just want to see what they look like on reflector headlights as I've only had them in projector type headlights.

They look good Asce, where are those from HID's direct ? Can see there that 5000k is as high colour temp to go (not blue lol).

See they look like they would blind oncoming cars and be dangerous. Do H7R really work?
