Mk3 cupra plain footrest

Just received the following for my MK3:

Whats the best way to fit as I have never fitted one before

Got one. screw in the side of orig foot rest undo pull up hard and it will come off fit alloy trim job done.

Whatever you do, don't use nuts & bolts to fit them. The bolt heads will remain proud. Better to rivet them on.

A small rivet gun & some rivets!

1 Undo the screw in the side of the orig plastic foot rest I think you call it a trox head screw
2 Pull the foot rest up and towards you and it will come off
3 place new alloy foot rest over the orig plastic one mark holes drill and then screw new alloy on then do reverse all done.
I used screws that came with it looks OK to me

NOT the rubber just the paper off the sticky pad helps line it up.
