Does the FR 1.4Act have cornering lights if so mine don't seem to work.

what are cornering lights and why would they be disabled?

Cornering lights are the left or right fog light coming on at low speed to light up the kerb as you turn.

For some reason - when you have the full led headlights - the cornering light function is disabled at the factory.

possibly because the almost yellow fog lights look crap against the crisp white headlights ??

All new cars that have LED headlamps as standard, don't have fogs now it seems, not just SEAT.

Your Cupra does not have fog lights because they needed the space to add brake cooling ducts in to the front bumper.

The other Leons in the range still have fog lights - they just don't have the cornering function active

I'm guessing he is referring to other brands. If you look at the new Audi's now (A6, A7, etc.) and new Mercedes (C and E class) which are coming with LED headlights as standard, they have dropped fog lamps.

I think the reason they've dropped the cornering function on Leon's with LED headlights is more that the headlights should provide a wider and more even spread of light, so in theory, the cornering lights aren't required.

I meant other brands, but the Leons that have foglights and LEDs are because the car came with fogs as standard and the LEDs were the free upgrade added to it. The Cupra is the only Seat one to have the LEDs as standard.

My wife has a new Nissan Qashqai Tekna with LED lights and that still has fog lights. I assumed that was because it's taller and foggies are supposed to help by cutting under the fog.
