Anyone applied clear film to rear bumper loading lip to prevent scuffs ? SEAT's genuine film or other, eg from 'Snudertech' off ebay/Amazon ?

Thoughts re ease of application, protection offered, durability ?

I have it on my Leon ST.
Bought on amazon.de, clear protection, ca 12 EUR.
Application quite easy, like protector on your mobile. Just need to use water as it is quite long area to fit, so you need to move it a bit after application, to fit perfectly.
No problem at all. I know I have it, nobody else, it is invisible. Just if your car is dirty too much, then you see edges of this protector. I am satisfied with it and recommend.

Unfortunatelly, I applied it just at the spring (it must be over +10C), but the winter use of the boot already caused few scratches... :(

Thanks, tried to find this on Amazon.de but couldn't - do you have a link ? Only ones I've seen are self-adhesive.

I bought the original SEAT version and have just spent an hour fitting it. It was a pain in the .,..?!. Part number 5F0061197. It is certainly tough though which makes it hard to bend over the edge of the bumper.

Probably best buying 3M film and shaping it yourself to be honest. I did think about buying a rear guard (sounds like something in Viz!) but couldn't make my mind up on best colour on my black car. Certainly thinking of the sill guards for the door sills.
Rearguard.co.you know the rest. (Still not allowed to post links)

Time for a well earned cuppa, not a job I intend doing again in a hurry but it was easier than putting similar safety film on a 7ft high glass panel in our house.

I had some 3M VentureShield fitted to the top of the rear bumper by a local detailing/wrapping place. It cost £20-30 IIRC and has been a godsend considering how often I'm loading and unloading my bikes into the back of the car. Took <10 mins to cut and fit the strip.

How do you fit these wet fit protection films I've bought one on eBay but no instructions came with it

Wouldn't let me purchase from lackschutzshop for uk so ended up taking a punt on some "TIS (TM) Clear Transparent Car Paint Protection Film" from Amazon. We'll see ...
