Hi guys, just a quick question. who else here flattens down their seats to save weight? i hear this is a good free way to save weight and improve weight distribution, anyone else know about this?

Mate just rip them out, that was a really stupid question lol that's like saying if I lay my drivers seat back and drive the car, will my car handle better LMAO

No it was a serious question, i did a 0-60 ccomparison before and after on my Samsung galaxy note (yeah you dunno) and I gained 0.3 seconds in acceleration and i got more G forces

It is impossible to save weight by folding them, but you knew that right?

As to folding them to lower the centre of gravity then it must do...by about 0.000000000000001mm.

Over the years this question has been asked numerous times on car forums and always seems to divide sensible and deluded opinion.

I hear if you lower your back seats to 23 degrees , add some go faster stickers , only use £4.36 p of v power and paint the windscreen wipers purple and green , that you gain 5.33333333 bhp and knock 1.5 seconds off 0-60 .

I just can't get over that someone would even think that laying ur seats down would do that lol I painted my caliper a red and added a red pin stripe along my doors, I got an extra 10bhp by the way,

Your pin stripes must of been from rip speed then . I got mine from the £1 shop . Only got 6bhp more

He ( op ) must have his pin stripes from harrods . According to his last thread he has the fastest leon on here . Mine only goes up to 70mph .
