where could i get one of the above? when i got my car it didnt come with one, if i try a local scrappers is any 2.0 tdi vag engine cover going to fit?

I don't think any VAG 2.0tdi will fit, but any which are off a PD170 should.

Best bet is a scrappy, eBay or try somewhere like Partshark, unless you want to fork out for a new one you can contact Dave at Sere motors.

aye thats what i meant haha ive found a few local places on ebay to try ring first along with local scrap yards, i thought about dave at sere but i can imagine new arent cheap

Yeah I wouldnt expect them to under £100 new lol.

lot of money for not very much haha!! just want to put one on as it looks a bit boring, was guna do the s2000 filter etc.

I've got an S2000 set up sat in the garage. Does sound okay but the constant sucking noise on long trips drove me mad lol

is it that bad? my FR is just my run about you see so dont want owt too daft, my ST does that for me

It's not terribly bad but passengers would always ask what the noise was haha. Just got sick of it after a while. May stick it back on for a bit though lol.
