Quite a few of the VAG cars have gone into economy mode regarding things that were once standard and I wondered if the Leon still had the puddle lights on the underneath of the doors or is that just a place where the reflector goes?

It has footwell lights which have no use whatsoever! Not sure if non cupra variants also have these.

No use whatsoever? You jest surely. They are very useful for A. Checking my feet are still attached. B. Locating the pedals just in case they have moved C. Seeing that I have the same shoes on my feet. And many other uses. Probably the best thing Seat have ever fitted. :p:rofl:

I paid 150 to spec interior light pack on my Audi, other wise you get no footwell lights, Seat are 1 up on Audi :)

I agree, sometimes it would be nice to have puddle lights.
Even my old golf mk4 had one :)

It's crazy to see just how similar those doors are! You pay all that extra money for a rubber seal and a reflector

Not that much more to be honest, it does shut with a better clunk though, and the alcantara door card feels better :)

Light not reflector :)
