I really can't believe that you are trying to do that!
The only way to mix up washer fluid is to mix it up into a container BEFORE starting to use it.
Typically, at least in my life, I've acquired a few washer liquid concentrate 5 litre containers, so I just make sure that I have kept 2 or 3 back, and when it is time to buy a new lot of washer concentrate, I just split the new 5 litre concentrate across 3 5 litre containers.
I don't know what washer concentrate you are using, but using it 10:1 does seem a bit silly and tight?

Yes, I thought 10:1 sounded a bit weak for the winter!
It's OK to premix if you keep the same concentration summer and winter. I try to have it strong in winter and weak in summer and it then gets difficult since I don't know much is in there before I start to add new.

Well I think in answer to that:- HOW MUCH LIQUID IS ALREADY IS IN THERE?
The smart money is on pre-mixing a few litres and if very little or no "antifreeze" qualities left in what is currently in it, play safe and use a quite a bit more than 10:1 in the initial top-up!
Use them till they run empty and then re-fill using a calibrated measuring jug containing your mix in the desired proportions. That will tell you how much it holds and fill it up as you want it at the same time
Okay, as the OP has not posted back, for anyone that needs to know and can't be bothered looking for this info, 2.0litres for ordinary models, 4.5litres for cars with headlight washers!
But that was when they are empty!!

and yeah can confirm its 2L cos i now have a 1:1 dilution of screen wash haha
