Hello everyone,

It's been damn cold here in Moscow, Russia, and so the washer liquid happened to freeze into solid stone.

However, when it unfroze, only the headlight washers came to life. Windscreen wahers, as well as rear washer and wiper (!) do not react to the switch. No sound, no relays clocking, no nothing.

I have searched the forum and found something about faulty J519 (onboard power supply module). Is there any way to tell it from any other possible cause? There are no SEAT dealers in Russia, no official service or anything like that.

My car is a Mk2 Leon 2.0 TFSI (FR) made in 2012.

Thanks,
Andrew

P.S. All fuses are ok, relays are visually intact as well (no burns or cracks)

So far nobody helped me, but I found a cure myself very fast: after a couple of tries to "wash" the windscreen with the wipers frozen, the "onboard comfort power block" prevents the washers AND rear wiper from powering on, even if they are now unfrozen. The CEL is not thrown.

So, to clear this to normal state, connect VAG COM or similar tool and clear errors in this onboard power module section. Everything will work.

Hope this helps someone...

I had a similar issue but it was the right hand "460" relay as the blower and 12v power jack didn't work either. Glad you got it sorted
