Managed to get a rare dry road yesterday so out my sps garmin stopwatch to use for the first time!
Previously managed a 6.6 using an obd2 wifi app on my phone but on a dry run and good launch yesterday I got a 6.39!!
Which is impressive to say I have no remap and the standard time is 6.9 if I'm right

Who else is getting similar times or beating that on a non remapped engine and who's getting what with a remap?

Should be interesting results from this!

How close/reliable would people say the Garmin timer on the car is?

Doing a 0-60 run on that, the best i've got is 6.00 on a non remapped car. Car generally runs similar times on that timer, always under 7 secs.

4,7s with remap, on gps.

that is not possible, not with the Ibiza cupra and with stage 2.
the leon cupra is not that fast -
"The fastest model in the Cupra 290 range is the SC with the DSG gearbox, recording a launch control-assisted 5.6 second 0-62mph time"

Also I don't understand how can you perform that thing in the street has my wheels are mostly burning out on first gear...

The leon is a heavy car, with a heavy engine, yeah its got lots of power but its heavy and doesnt have a supercharger to help with low down power.

it is possible, in the dry with grippy rubber, stripped out car and **** all fuel, running stage2 with ideal conditions(please feel free to click the boc below to see spec)

yerp, instead of rubber hoses i have a full set of silicone hoses.

made by forge motorsport.

coolant=pure ballache as seat glued the stock ones on.

I also have full silicone + aluminum tubes but it wasn't made special for the cupra and I kinda have air leak for now...
:(

I will try to get some next time I will open it. also any idea how to find out exactly where the leak coming from?
also is it possible that it comes from the generic intercooler ?(blackside)

What are the advantages of the silicone hoses? I've seen that they will last longer than the stock hoses but what would cause stock hoses to fail? Can't really find much else

Stock hoses are very soft compare to the silicon one. if you leave your car as is then there is no reason to change.
But if you go stage 2+ or 3 I think that the regular ones will collapse under higher pressure.
That is my opinion.

Hit 5.89 without remap! Intake, fmic, turbo back milltek and gfb dv, no weight stripped!

Managed to get 0-60 in 24.9 secs. Got a lot of funny looks. Jealous lol!
I take it we're not just talking fastest times?
