Hi. Ive had my Leon FR a couple of weeks now, on a 64 plate. Anyway today ive noticed a small leather scratch on the passenger seat, its not a thick scratch but I can see it, maybe its a from a jacket scrape getting in and out of the car. Anyway I have a couple of questions, firstly can a scratch like this be removed? Also does anyone use covers in their car or is this a bit of a dated thing to do? Im just thinking scratches on leather are unavoidable especially if you wear jeans and thought some good looking front covers might be the trick to preserve the front seats anyway but where would I find some good ones from?

I have custom made covers on my seats, red alcantara and grey leather

Had front seat covers in mine since new.not the nicest things to look at but do the job great and they have rubber lining underneath so they are nice and rigid.

There's side airbags on the backrests. Are you sure it's safe?

If you have airbags in then you're not supposed to put anything on them. Could lead to the airbag not inflating correctly. Actually says this in the manual.

Yes exactly. We always have a problem to fullfil opening times during seat development. There's a lot of fine tuning on trim, foam and airbag module. And than somebody put a sock on it which looks like bad joke

Airbag label is stiched onto the cover so will work the same!

Seriously, that is asking for trouble!

On the other hand, maybe some foreign markets don't have the seat/side airbags?
