TDI 150 Euro 5 engines do not have variable camshaft for early/late adjustment, only early TDI 184's are euro6... again thanks, VAG
then after all EA888 are euro6 compliant...
As you've suggested they are different turbo's as exhaust ports are different. Wondering what are compression differences on those as TDI 184 will probably run lower compression too.
Its probably just easier to ditch tdi150 and get tdi184 and go from there...

EA888 are petrol engines.
