Lowering Springs for 2017 Leon 1.4 FR

Hello all, I'm trying to find out what springs I can fit to my Leon.
Are the FR spec cars lowered a bit from stock already?
I'm trying to figure out if any spring kits (35mm etc) will be the given calculations from a stock Leon height or a FR models height?

If anyone has done this to their 1.4 FR already, it'd be much appreciated if you could reply with how much you've lowered yours by, and pictures would help my decide a great deal.

Hopefully someone can help you with your other questions. But calculations usually assume a stock height Leon. From my experience, the MK2 FRs were lowered slightly over a stock Leon, so I don't see why the MK3s wouldn't be.

I gather the FR is about 25mm lower than SE/Xcellence models.

I fitted Eibach Pro springs to my Xcellence and it dropped about 35-40mm so on an FR I’d be expecting a further 10-15mm drop.

I’m afraid not don’t have the facilities so used a local VAG specialist was about £250 including a full wheel alignment.

We generally find the FR model is around 15mm lower than a standard spec so a set of 35mm lowering would only give you a 20mm drop unless specifically for the FR model.
