Yes it is harder to close as my missus used to moan after I done it on my last Cupra , I liked it but she didn't lol and the stock.is so light it's no biggy.
 
I've just brought some Plasti Dip, Vinyl Wrap and some light tinting wrap and am planning on blacking out a few bits of the car (Silver trim, Badges, Lights) Tonight or tomorrow.

Did you have to fiddle with vagcom to get this working or once you replace the dampners it just pops open?

thanks man, no I didnt, just cut the bumper, it looks oem which is what I wanted. I will be putting on a diffuser and different tips soon though.

I used plasti dip on my S badges and the Cupra letters, looks much better I think

I got heated ones from Mike at Listers for about £53. The none heated ones are cheaper at around £26.

May be a little costly but they are genuine SEAT parts.

You will need to check if you need heated or not. Easily done by just uncoupling your current ones.
