Hope the question doesn't offend but will normal ST mudflaps fit my ST Cupra?

(Although I still have to decide if the protection factor overcomes the mudflap look factor.)

Short answer yes. And I’m considering it, but would want mine painted, but not sure how it would work if lowered.

@brivww gor any pics of you Carbon with the mudflaps.

@Damo7 yours would be good too.

Just checked Seat's price list for these - chuffing expensive for bits of plastic! £164 for the set (front and rear) unless you guys know of a cheaper source?

Have a look on eBay.
Oem ones a lot cheaper than that.

Just got a set of rears on there for £35 and the fronts for £41 :)

Latest on the exciting mudflaps topic...ST Cupra model.

Have got some fronts coming from Horton SEAT and they assure me they will fit.

Have sent back some ebay rears that were wrong (listing was incorrect).

Have had a chat with Horton SEAT and they tell me that no REAR mudflaps are made that fit the ST Cupra models.

So that's it, unless anyone knows if any of the other rears can be easily adapted to fit Cupras...they list two rear ST types, one for "ordinary" models and one for FR models...I would have been inclined to believe that the rear arches are the same on the ST FR and the ST Cupra, but apparently NOT!!!

I have a set of front and rears ready to go on my ST Cupra 300 Carbon (collecting Saturday). Will try to fit at the weekend so will let you know how I get on!

I hope the rears fit, then you can pass on your part number....but,according to Hortons they won't!!
Keep us informed.

Ps With the fronts I think you need a 9.5mm drill so check before you start the job.

Will do. I have pretty much every type and size of drill known to mankind (even .5 sizes), so no worries on that score :)

Will keep you posted

It’ll be like most part places, bmw and mini the same. Unless it’s officially listed they’ll say it won’t fit. The FR bumper is the same bumper apart from the diffuser insert.

Just a cautionary note; my experience of these 'conformal' mudflaps is that they can rub through the paint, eventually causing rust. I've had this issue using OEM parts on both a VW T5 van and a Passat, particularly on the fronts where they sit tight against the sill. Grit gets underneath them. A good idea may be a layer of 'helicopter' tape between the bodywork and the flap

Good point. I’ll see how they fit, but have some clear protective vinyl that I may apply to any parts in direct contact with the plastic of the flaps. That or a bead of silicon ;)

Fitted front and rears today and can confirm they both fit the ST Cupra 300 (Carbon edition too in my case).

Part numbers are:

ST rear mudflaps 5F0075101C
Leon front mudflaps5F0075111

Make sure for the rears you have the 'C' suffix. That's correct for 2013+ STs.

Will post some more pics once the snow clears! Only had the car delivered yesterday and despite being ‘dealer prepped’, it was hanging (to my eyes). It took 6 hours to clean brakes/wheels (and cost in Gtech iq C5) and fit the mudflaps (which is an easy job).

I ran a strip of expanding tape along the trailing edges (see post above ref rubbing paint). Very hard to apply helicopter tape in a way that looks ok due to the curvature of the bumper.
