I’ve just came across from an Audi A3 8v and as far as I am aware they all come with a valved exhaust which opens and closes dependant on the mode the car is set to...

On the A3 I had to open the valves fully all the time as they were closed until 3500rpm and sounded

I’m just wondering if this is the same on the Leon/Cupra? My ST sounds pretty disappointing anyway, but wondering if there was valves I could code open...

PS. Red delete is booked for May to improve the standard sound!

Don’t know about the Cupra ST but the Golf R estate doesn’t have it - on the R hatch, only the inner two of the four tailpipes are open until you enter Race mode when the outer ones open as well.
