Which bulbs do i need to replace the halogen foglights? h8?h11? what temperature? any other ratings to take care of?

Are they interchangeable? https://forums.seatcupra.net/index.php?threads/fr-fog-lights.394788/ says he used h11 with no problem.

i ordered H11 led bulbs.

hope i didnt made a mistake.

looked for youtube video and i asked the video creator what is the bulb type and he told me its an H11.

you might have washed your car first But good video, I tried to change the bulbs before but couldn't work out how to get the cover off. Thanks for posting this

I suppose this is the time when some old sod/duffer (that is me) jumps in and that fog lights should not be pure white - well if that is correct then why don't they fit them with yellow covers like the French/Froggies used to do and fitting LED bulbs would just make them brighter.

Edit:- the trouble for most people is probably that these lights have become dual purpose lights so the horrible yellowish lights are seen when you are turning at slow speed!
