Just wondering if Cupra cars can be serviced at Seat dealers as there are few Cupra Garages within reasonable distance in Central Scotland.. Currently using a Skoda dealer (taking up Seat servicing) in Stirling as remaining Seat specialist dealerships closed.
I have been up there to chat on new Cupra Leon delivery times when available next year and it is a bit of trek instead of Stirling area. Wondered if Seat dealers would be acceptable for Cupra from lease rules.
I would hope that non Cupra dealer master techs would be capable of looking after a Cupra, they can’t be using unknown technology, possibly the dealer might not have any Cupra specific tools or computer links.
I can't see how there's any difference between the Cupra and a SEAT, it's the same car with a different badge. The previous SEAT badged Cupra models could be serviced at any SEAT dealer. Nothing has changed. I can't imagine the Cupra badged cars have any different tools required to the SEAT versions. The EA888 engine has been used for many years.
