Just took order of a 72' V2 with petrol blue full leather seats. Drivers seat lovely full electric, passenger seat clunky manual levers and knobs. How can a 35k car in 2022 have these manual levers from a 1995 Ford Escort?

Lots of VAG cars costing £35k or more don’t have electrically adjustable seats - either the driver‘s or front passenger’s - or leather upholstery either.

Thanks for the reply SRGTD. I find that terrible really. Great car the V2 but actually found that embarrasing when a passenger asked about it. Thought it was maybe an issue with Semi Conductor chips and faster roll out or something. Even my 2010 3 series had front and passenger electric!

Fwiw my old 64 plate, decent spec Tiguan had a manual passenger seat.

Forgot to mention, electric front seats were a near-£900 option on all 3 series in 2010. Not standard.
