I've got a revo intercooler and revo charge pipes I've not done no cutting straight fit and the car drives spot on holds boost a lot better too

I pull the trigger for a Do88 intercooler.

Except their site and Jeff's job, do you we have real life logs? What about after 3-4 runs? I'll be happy if IAT isn't 10 Celsius over ambient.

I'm ready to cut a lot, however any advice of what to look out for, is welcome.

I think any intercooler is on MQB platform is a nice upgrade.

re Jeff’s tests, the DO88 flows very well, (as you’d expect for a Tube and Fin style) however if you look at the IAT’s after then 4th gear pulls you see it sits well behind some of the others.

As I said bottom line is that any intercooler is a nice upgrade.
Personally I went Revo due to the zero cutting and definitely holds power longer than with no intercooler.

I say just go for it !!!!

I live in Greece and in the summer we have 30-45 degrees. What I care about is the repeatability but even if it gives me +7 Celsius degrees in the winter, it should do +10 in the summer at most. If it works like this in real life then it will be perfect for me.

I am with OEM IHI-IS12 turbo now. Stage1 file until today that i have an appointment for remap to stage2. My programmer doesn't work with max boosts. That's good for temperatures. I believe it should be fine even with IS20 or IS38 setup. Which is what i have in mind in the future.
 
Why oh why would you install the Intercooler THEN ask about charge pipes ??‍♂️.

It would have been so much easier installing them whilst you have the front end off !!!!
