245/40/18 on 8x18ET45 2019 ST300 4DRIVE LEON

Morning, I,m looking at fitting this combo , does anyone run this set up , if so is there any rubbing on lock or loaded up. Ive found other threads on 245 19s but I cant find 18s just want an answer with et45 8x18 and 245/40 regards Gary

You might find it rub on the arches, you would normally fit 225 or 235 but having et 45 will extended it further. I tried a 235 45 17 on my st 300 with et 45 on 8j wheels and they rubbed the arches so changed the wheels to et 50 7.5j as winter setup and they worked fine for 4 yrs

HUB V10 8x18 , had them a few years so getting them repainted in a dark grey gloss, not powder coated, poly base , colour then lacquer. These are them on my old st , btw these were GY assy 5 235 40 18

Well they rubbed on speed bumps on full compression ,so I swapped them out for 235 40 18 contisportcontact7 , no rubbing and drives so much better on these to 19s , cost me a small fortune in tyres lol. Pics with tyre wall dressing are the 245, with tyre dressing are the 235, selling the x4 245 conti sport contact7 for £420 they have 12 miles on them ????
