Hello

I have seen a very nice cupra leon 2021 black. But i see it on photos. The only thing is that the company is 240km far from me...
I have one big feature that i really want and that is travel assist.
I saw that the travel assist button was on the left side of the steering wheel.
i ask her to send pictures from the menu but the travel assist option is not in the menu, is that possible? Or does the car then not have travel assist?
And if it have not, can i easy update / buy OTA with this function?

On this video i see it on the menu

Hello. You need a steering wheel with the travel button and the capacitive function. Then code it correctly. However, your A5 control unit must have a minimum software.

There is a steering wheel with the travel button. But the seller doesnt know if it has travel assist. Is it not right that if the button is there, the car always have travel?

Well, i got reply from the seller.
It does have travel assist but its not in the menu actually. Only with physical button on the steer. Does that mean that the software is older or is it just normal?
If i take that car can i update it OTA?

This is about the point in the radio under Assist Systems. If you do a retrofit, you would not need it for the functionality

Don't remember, it was a pdf I found somewhere more than 2 years ago.
Only settings in radio is force of steering assist and enable/disable assisted lane change.

I dont know if it has it in factory.

But while i tested it out, i find out that the travil assist work actually very well. Activating was possible by touching the steering wheel button. When pressing at the top of the left stick beside the steering wheel, the display changes (it shows the road with cars before you)
The only thing is, within the assistant menu i cannot find travel distance option anywhere. I got lane assist, front assist, esc, acc and so on. But no travel dist.

I saw more videos on youtube from owners who alao have travel dis. but no menu item
