Model Year 24/25 Weird sound while icon A in circle displaying (recovering energy) Cupra Formentor 1,5 etsi facelift

Hey,
I’m going to present you something what really makes me worried. I was in dealership but they claimed that everything is okay and nothing to worry about. I will skip the fact that they told me during my car’s visit it didn’t happen what is more weird because when I use it it happens always. Anyway I noticed that when I’m slowing down and the recuperation system turns on or maybe electric engine turns on I hear weird noise. I tried to catch this on video - when icon with A in circle display, the weird sound appears. Anyone has the same since dealership claims it’s common and normal?

I have the same car and sound. I asked the service about that and they said its regeneration sound. Nothing to worry about

Thank you so much. To this date no one said what it is. I think that maybe our Polish dealer doesn’t have knowledge about their own cars. Also to this date I got used to it and I explained it the way exactly the same as you did it

I posted here on December 2024 with this issue and it was just 1 month after I purchased my car. Now I’ve been using it for 7 months (12.000 km). I’m quite happy. I think like the other cars in the same class Formentor has its own inconveniences and problems. Besides inconveniences like noise inside the car with higher speed or regeneration sound ? I experienced problem with microphone when I was speaking using Infotainment system. Person who I was speaking with told me that hear me like I would use aluminum foil (the same effect when you volume music up too much and your speaker can’t take it). This problem disappeared on its own few days after I rebooted the system. It’s a minor thing. The last thing I experienced was Formentor didn’t want to start the engine with no reason. I press the start button and nothing worked. I had to step out of the car go away for a moment and when I turn it on again it worked. I had this situation two times so far. Maybe it’s a problem with keyless access or whatever. I read about this issue and many people come up with this. It’s common problem with no solution. Dealer works on it but without any result.

I bought my car in February 2025. Exactly 1 week after I bought it, it gave a Headlight Height Adjustment Error . I took the car to the service, they tried all the software methods and failed, then they changed the entire headlight. (The car broke down only when I brought it home and got in for the second time ) Last week I drove about 700 km, when I tried to start my car to wash it, it wouldn't start no matter what I did (I was really scared to be honest ) When I sprayed water on the rear headlight, I saw that the rear headlight was cracked. When I researched, I saw that a few other people had this and learned that they had stress cracks. At this rate, I will have the car rebuilt at the service xD
