Model Year 23/24 Pulled Seat thread

Hi

Annoyingly I've noticed that the thread on the passenger seat has been snagged and worked lose.

Has anyone had any experience with this before?

I'm tempted to try a repair it but I'm worried about damaging the heated seats. Does anyone know how the heating element works or where it's located within the seats?

Thanks in advance.

Honestly, if it's under warranty - don't mess with it. Book it in and have your dealer investigate the problem. It looks like you need a new seat cover and there's been no outside influence that would have caused the complaint.

Umm...I haven't checked but can't imagine it is.

I bought it as an ex demo almost a year ago now.

I'll contact them. Thanks.

DM me your VIN and I'll see if there's a service bulletin for trim complaints. There's *usually* a guide to what constitutes a legitimate warranty claim.

As already said, that doesn't look like something caused by a user of the vehicle, the stitches have popped out of place. It happens from time to time.
