CUPRA Raval, so who's ordered one / owns one?

Please use the poll to select your model (polls don't work in TapaTalk, please use the website).

Please note that the RAVAL models can differ by country. If yours isn't listed, let me know.

You can also share a picture of your car below :)

Hi everyone.

I ordered the Raval last week on the 14th of May. Estimated delivery time in June/July, no specific date as yet.

Power 210ps, battery 52 kWh, colour midnight black.

Where I live, the trim is called "Dynamic", which is equivalent to a mix of V1 and V2 in the UK it seems, judging from the list of options, e.g. Defier 18" alloy wheels, Dinamica bucket seats, full LED (not matrix), heated front seats, heated wheel, Edge pack, standard 6+1 sound system (not the Senheiser 12+1), front/rear cameras (no 360º).

Originally I wanted the "Dynamic Plus" equivalent to the V2 for €4k extra (better sound system and the few other cool extras), but unfortunately where I live it only comes in the purple coulour called "PlasmaIridescent premium metallic", which I'm not too keen on.

I hope it'll be a worthy successor to my departed LCR 210 (after 21 years of excellent service and 320k km / 200k miles).

I'll share real pictures upon collection. In the meantine, here are the official pics of my exact trim. Exciting times!!

Very cool! Having owned a LCR 210 and various Leon's since and having driven the Raval, I can tell you I'm sure you won't be disappointed :)

Hi Scott, I’ve preordered a V2 launch edition in Plasma with a black roof. I’m booked on to see it in the metal in Manchester but I’m just wondering if the arm rest is fixed or does it raise up like in the Leon etc?

With you owning a Leon would you say there’s more practicality lost with this smaller model? I’m coming from the PHEV Leon so I’m thinking this has more space really!

Many thanks

Nice, congrats! Did you see our review? Interior space feels a little smaller, but not by much. The boot is bigger than my Leon's! :)

I can't remember re the arm rest sorry.

Does it lift up and you can adjust it to different heights? I have my Leon one on the highest setting and it’s perfect but if this one doesn’t it’ll feel low for me. No big issue but I couldn’t get on with the borne or tavascan for this reason.

Yes sorry I’ve watched that much content! I had seen yours and you did mention the armrest was fixed which got me wondering. Thanks for the response seems like a very well packaged car and it’s getting great reviews! Hope the rest of the range is received well!

Sorry all I've seen is a video with it being opened not adjusted for height.

Not according to a video review I saw, it's fixed with no height adjustment. Seems pretty deep though, on the plus side.

I ordered a V2 Launch Edition in Magnetic Tech (eh?) Grey to replace my Born. Very little information on delivery dates in the UK yet and no actual cars available to test drive. However, Cupra did send me this little teaser:

It is a shame on the lack of information around delivery dates and finance as part of me thinks I should order one and cancel the Abarth. It's an amazing car and the VZ is the one I would go for. I expect finance will be July 1st with the start of Q3 but won't be on either the Octopus scheme with my current employer and unsure of who my new employer use salary sacrifice wise. So unable to weigh up all the options yet.

Picked up mine last week. In the Netherlands we had a Performance First edition just under the VZ. This one has just better seats for me because the cup seats are too narrow.

See my posts for some info and pictures

I've just ordered a Raval V2 Launch Edition in Magnatech Grey with Copper trim on the wheels. We really wanted the car in Plasma but the dealer didn't have access to one. We also ummed and arrred about whether to go for the VZ as that comes with the sunroof but the value of the V2 Launch Edition swayed us. Looking forward to getting it in September but there is a nag in my head saying should have gone for the VZ....but my head ruled my heart. Very excited to get it.

This was the same process I went through although in my case my heart ruled over my head and went for VZ. Initially I was quite clear set on a V2 (called Endurance Launch Plus here) as I didn't want what the VZ Extreme offered, the CUP bucket seats and matte paint and sunroof while I wouldn't mind, I also don't see point for it and most importantly wouldn't want to sacrifice range at all as ~440 km was already at the bare minimum I was considering for my first EV. But by accident I discovered the downloadable price list and saw a basic VZ spec in there showing 439 km range and was confused... turned out it's just about the tyre option (performance or eco/range tyres) and possible to get the same range with the VZ and the starting price for the basic VZ was pretty okay at 33,900€ too, same price as the V2 (although V2 comes with a bunch of extras that makes it worth more as the basic VZ lacks a lot of extras and adding those packs on top will make it expensier obviously). I went back n forth but the heart said go for VZ in the end as I value driving dynamics and large factor as to why I landed on Raval in first place (besides the exterior styling which really speaks to me, interior is not bad but not entirely what I'd ideally look for, perhaps something a bit more "mature" but still sporty looking, I think ID Polo GTI interior looks slightly better to my tastes but the exterior is just the bland VW style as always that I've never liked).

Very excited to get mine as well, so much I've endured like 30 YouTube videos in various languages besides english and a finnish one to spanish, italian, a lot of german, dutch, french all dubbed to english, (almost) checking daily for new videos 😅

Thanks for sharing. I'm still not sure I made the best call 🤣
