Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on some retrofitting heated seats.
I noticed the following 2 threads and it looks quite simple / interesting to do.

The car meets the requirements, and the wiring and the digital AC control unit is fairly easy to get (£100,-£200 total for these 2 components)

With a tiny exception, which is that I cannot find the heated pads for the seats, and I'd definitely want to aim for upgrading both, the pads i found are either the wrong model, or seem more expensive then a full set of new seats of Ebay for £350,-

Or does anyone happen to know where i may be able to score some of these pads at a reasonable price :)
Alternatively, am i best getting one of the £50,- kits of Ebay at this point if the pads are difficult to get?

Thanks,
Blue

Genuine pads aren't that expensive, however you can often find it's cheaper (and much much less hassle) to replace the seats if you keep an eye out on ebay
Thanks, do you know where I may be able to get a good set of genuine pads?
I genuinely don't mind the hassle, and love to keep the options open if possible.

I see, thanks, I'll have a look and see if i can find some, is that £400 per pad or per seat?

Like you say it may be easier to get some new seats, so ill keep my eyes out for a set, but it's nice to have the options available :)

4 pads, 2 seats. Total £300-400

The pads vary in shape depending on which seats you have. You have to match the seats PR codes to the pads

Thanks, that really helps. and is actually much better then i expected as the prices i was finding were much higher!
There is a set on eBay at the moment which is electrically adjustable (driver), and looks to be fully leather or half/leather for a similar price with heated seats, so I'm sort of leaning that way at the moment.

The PR code is "N0N" for mine, its the standard fabric seats which does make me wonder if I should just look at upgrading them to get a bit more seating comfort at the same time perhaps.
