I suppose, apart from the sheer acceleration, I'd like to know how it handles - body roll, grip, under/oversteer, feel of the wheel in different modes, etc - just the general driver's experience compared to any other Formentor the test driver is familiar with.

Very interested to hear what you think of the fancy torque-splitter differential and how much you feel (literally) it adds to the overall handling experience

OK so the car has gone back and in the process of editing the review but I can tell you I got 3.73 seconds 0-60.
Gor Blimey! That's even quicker than mine! ...by a fair chunk. Impressive.

How did it feel? Quick?

3.7sec is pretty much launch model (2009) Nissan GT-R time. Flippin' 'eck.

Just like the previous gen VZ5 then - 3.73s is quite a bit more spritely, from a dig, than the rival RSQ3 is.

Cupra have the better steering wheel too, so the Formentor VZ5 should be the most liveable EA 855 evo package possibly ever to be made. As long as they don't make it too stiff.
