1.6tdi Alternator Removal

2012 mk2 Leon 1.6tdi. Any idea how to get the alternator out as I cant drop the ac compressor as there's ac pipes under it and it won't fit through the top of the engine bay. Thanks

You unbolt the A/C compressor from the bracket and swing it out of the way. There's enough give in the pipes.

I have it unbolted but it seems pretty stuck behind the pipes around it but I must go give it another go if you say otherwise. Thank you
