Hi!
My name is Nuno, I'm from Lisboa, Portugal and I currently own a 2023 Cupra Born e-boost 77kwh that I bought last June.

Hi Nuno, and welcome to the forum! Our second car is a Born e-Boost 59 kWh, it was having one as a hire car in Portugal that led us to order one last September. How are you finding the Born?

Hi! Thank you!

To be honest I'm having mixed feelings, but most of them are not really the car's fault.

I bought it used and it came with a few (unknown to me) problems that are still being fixed.

The one thing that annoys me and is "car related" is Android Auto... it lags terribly. I am still figuring out if it has something to do with my phone (Pixel 10), if it is the head unit's hardware/firmware or a mix of both. I tried to connect the phone wirelessly and with cable, but had the same results.

The car is currently at the dealership because of a recall (besides the other problems) and I'll be getting it later today. Hope it comes fully updated and fixed.

Other than this, the driving is pure joy (I also have a 2016 Golf 1.0 TSI so you can imagine the difference!).

Welcome to SCN, loving the car and the weather looks great too, not like the pouring rain here in Scotland at the moment, enjoy.
The pictures are from June!
But the weather is still much the same today... some rain would be nice now and then though!
Thanks!

They did an upgraded the infotainment system in 2025 with a slight interior refresh and that is much less laggy, the one we had in Portugal was the older one (gear selector on drivers display) that was laggy at times too. Our updated version is not laggy at all, but I have a Raval with the new Android system and that is laggy again... Lovely pictures and setting BTW and I hope all is fixed to your satisfaction.
