What are people's thoughts on the new Maxton body kits for the face-lift Cupra Leon? Quite aggressive and cheaper than a new TCR....

Yep, I've got Maxton parts on my Leon and they are just gel stickers you can easily peel off thank goodness

I've had this front splitter sat in my garage for a week now but not had a chance to fit it yet , will be taking the gel sticker off as I think it looks better without it .....

How many mm/cm does it actually lower the clearance? I really like it but have a bump getting off my drive which i have touched once with the rubber trim that is on the underside of the bumper.

Got you , its in getting Ceramic coating but will measure it once I get it home for you.

Looks a lot better for sure Scott , it comes with a nut,bolt and washer kit but I never used them as I didn't want to drill 10 holes into my bumber, I used four of the original fixing points already there and used 3m tape for the rest , needs 2 people and a ramp ideally as is a bit fiddly but worth it.

Got the car back this morning and the clearance is exactly 150mm or 6" from bottom of lip to ground.

I just went and measured to the bottom.of the rubber strip and that was 13.5cm.. so that would indicate that... that would touch something before the splitter would?

You have basically 15.4 cm clearance
