Hiya all. I’ve recently got a 2022 xcellence.. My first seat and i’m absolutely loving it. However, i’ve been thinking about maybe modding it in the future. I know absolutely nothing about mods or cars in general, but i was wondering if anyone had any pointers as to whether it’d be worth doing or whether it’ll end up chavvy.. Ive had people tell me not to bother cuz i have so little knowledge but i do think there can be bits i can learn about and add to my car in the future. Any opinions would be extremely helpful… I usually stick to 2 wheels so i’m rather out my depth here!

If I was you, if you do decide to do any mods I stick to OEM+ style changes only. Also, keep any original parts you change and put them back on the car when the time comes to sell it; your taste in mods won’t be to everyone else’s taste and leaving them on the car might affect your ability to be able to sell it and the amount you can sell it for (modified cars quite often sell for less).

Also, ensure you inform your insurance company of any mods you make (most - if not all - policies have a clause in the policy small print requiring you to do this) and be aware your insurance company might charge an additional premium if you modify your car.
