Hi all,I’ve got a 2014 Seat Leon Mk3 1.2 TSI. I recently replaced the heater blower, which meant taking out parts around the passenger-side glovebox. Everything went back together fine and the new blower works perfectly.

However, I now have a constant airbag warning light on the dash. I’m pretty sure all the electrical connectors were plugged back in properly.

Has anyone had this happen after working in that area? Any ideas on what might be causing it or how to fix it?Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The deactivation key switch is in that area. Did you have that unplugged whilst you carried out the work?

I have certainly had airbag light show when I did some work on aircon switches (because i had left the ignition on) I just used obdeleven and cleared all errors and it went away.

You probably need VCDS (or something similar) to clear the code for it. Did you remove the airbag plug when the battery was still connected?

Thanks for the reply. Can't remember if I removed airbag plug. Battery was connected.
