Hi. I just went to the dealer and did the first maintenance at 1200km. In the list of performed works I see items such as battery charging and diagnostics. Are these things really mandatory when changing the oil? Or is the dealer just trying to make money by selling me cheap options? Car formentor 2.0 vz 333hp

The manufacturer provides the dealer a list of checks to perform on the vehicle during the service, they don't get a choice in the matter. So the answer is yes, if you use a dealer, those checks are mandatory to meet brand standards.
