So I wanted to seek your advice before I head to the dealer.
It's also currently cold and rainy/snowy in my part of the UK as I type this and I know that can affect Keyless Access, however it's only the passenger door and only when trying to open. The locking works fine.
I'm out of warranty and already looking at an expensive repair to get my reversing sensors working again, as well as yet another replacement of the puddle light cupra logo that's burning away, so I'm hoping someone on this forum will have an easy or cheap fix for my issue.
Keyless Entry works fine both unlocking and locking on the driver side, but only works for locking on the passenger side. Is it possible that this is just a battery in my key? Could it be that the weather is only affecting the opening function, and only on one door? Or am I looking at adding another, likely expensive, repair to my list? It seems Cupra were smart to only offer a 3 year warranty because all my issues started as soon as I was out of warranty. Typical.
Any advice you can give would be greatly welcome. I'm going to get the OBD reader looking for fault codes as soon as I can, assuming the car throws a fault code for the Keyless sensors at all.
