Hi
I only have my Formentor PHEV 8 weeks. The keyless entry doesnt work every time. It did when I had it first but the past few wks it’s opening at drivers side but not locking so I have to take out keyfob from pocket or handbag to lock. Also I have the got foot wave opening for boot but rarely works. Where is the sensor for this ? Tnks

My car (facelift 74 plate) also doesn't self-lock every time, so I've resorted to using the doorhandle touchlock, just to be on the safe side. I wonder if the feature might disable itself if the battery gets a bit low, then need to be switched on again (my car only has light use)?

As for the footwave boot activation, mine works, but you need to get your foot/ankle quite close to the underside of the centre of the bumper, stand on one foot and wave your leg back & forth until it decides to do something. It's easier to press the button, isn't it? Then you don't look like a weirdo.

Cars used to be simple.

It's right under the bumper at the center. Move your foot like a kick forward, not like a wave from left to right, and move a step back. I do this on my Cupra Ateca and it works everytime. Once you got it right, there shouldn't be any problem.
