Last week I intended to trade in my 2018
Seat Leon 1.4TSi Technology on 46,000 miles for a Skoda Karoq. I was looking at buying for £22k - £25k. Three Skoda dealers all offered me £9k in part-exchange.

When I found the Karoq SEL I wanted for £24k I thought I'd see how much Webuyanycar would give me for my Leon which had one broken rear light & one badly scuffed alloy wheel. They bought it off me for £10,575 after fees including for fast payment. So £1,575 more than trade-in. I never expected that.

So I'm now leaving Seatcupra.net after more than 7 years and returning to Briskoda where I was previously for the 6 years I owned a Octavia vRS.

I did consider buying an Ateca FR, cheaper than the Karoq SEL, but a lower spec.

Farewell (until I next change my car?) and best wishes to you all.

Interesting to hear that you got more than the dealers, I would also not have thought that, enjoy the Skoda and maybe we will see you again sometime in the future.

After our Formentor going back we have been looking at various options and spent 15 mins in the local Skoda garage on Monday after work, trying to check out the Kodiak, Karoq and Kamiq.

Karoq was our favourite, they are offering some good deals at the moment. Really nice inside with very comfy but also sporty seats and even a heated screen on the model we looked at (Graphite Grey with extremely nice alloys as well). What wasn't so good was that having been in there for 15 mins not one of the 3 saleman could even be bothered to get off their chair to see if we needed any help etc! Which on this occasion would have been helpful as the Kodiak, Karoq and Kamiq are all so similar. :) I even told one of them as we left that a car on their forecourt had 2 windows half open, he just got up from his desk, mumbled something and went to get the key - not even a thanks :ROFLMAO:

I prefer the Karoq in many ways to other options we are considering Qashqai, HRV, Q2, but the car will be my g/fs and as she said, if they can't be bothered to even speak to us what will they be like when we come back for servicing etc. so I think we may give it one more try at the weekend, but if they are equally disinterested we will look elsewhere. Completely opposite the local Cupra/SEAT dealer are excellent but have nothing at the moment.
