Hi,

I have an issue with the ABS module in my SEAT Leon 2013 FR (MQB platform).

Vehicle details:

  • Engine: 1.4 TSI (140 HP)
  • Transmission: manual
  • Drive: FWD
  • No electric parking brake (no EPB)
  • Indirect TPMS (via ABS)
  • Driving modes available (Eco/Sport)
ABS module:

  • 5Q0 907 379 R
Current long coding:
20 EE 6A 92 24 21 29 71 00 79 06 09 41 C9 24 04 56 24 94 00 60 82 24 F2 00 21 00 70 C0 02

Symptoms:
  • ESP and TPMS warning lights are on
  • ABS itself seems to work normally
  • VCDS shows fault codes without descriptions
Questions:
  1. Does this coding look correct for this configuration?
  2. Does anyone have a correct long coding for this module (5Q0 907 379 R, FWD, manual, no ACC, no EPB)?
If anyone has an Auto-Scan from a similar configuration, I would really appreciate a comparison.

From your Symptoms:
  • ESP and TPMS warning lights are on
  • ABS itself seems to work normally
  • VCDS shows fault codes without descriptions

What were these fault codes which VCDS shows?
The codes above don't look like normal Pxxx fault codes.

I don't have VCDS so I don't remember what kind of codes it showed, but the mechanic who told me about it said it showed some interference.

The old ABS module, which was not communicating, nothing worked. I sent the car for new module coding, where the mechanic was supposed to do it via VCDS. He did coding, but the G85 wouldn't go any further, so he gave me the car back with the tpms snd esp controls on dashboard. Practically everything didn't work on the old module, all the indicator lights on the dashboard, steering assist, parking sensors, even the speedometer.
