the bushes are the best thing i've done to it, it handles so much better now.

next month i have decided, once the car tax is paid, if i have enough left over, the wheels will be done.

yep certainly have, the platinum one was my first car, had that a year then and as always in your first year had an accident (still maintain it wasnt my fault but any way ) it didnt feel right so i traded it in for the Zenith grey sport 100 which was brand harry spankers, had that a year, got a promotion and an noticeable pay rise, realised I could buy the FR instead of modding the 1.4 to look like the FR so i did :D never looked back either, altho once the finance runs out on this, i might well be jumping ship from SEAT, the new cars just dont tick right boxes, i'll probably look at an alfa or something similar (god i say that with the problems ive had with dealers )

Oh right lol, same here mate! A bloke in his big Toyota Hilux 4x4 wrote off my Ford Focus 1.8 tdci 115! He was tailgating me then I had to break quite suddenly then he went straight up my arse lol. Then I moved to Seat and bought myself a mk1 Black Leon PD130 and I had the pleasure in losing it and rolling it down a bank  lol.

Now I have the FR Beeza, same engine as my last Leon, both mapped. Just need to start modding but in the middle of moving house so my cash is all tied up :(.

You can't leave Seat!! Once I pay off my beeza, I want a new leon cupra lol. (dream world here lol). But apparently, you're not a true petrol head until you own an Alfa, so good luck with that one mate.

ouch thats some bad luck, at least you got out all in one piece as thats the main thing

the move from SEAT is a few years off yet, still have 4yrs to run on the finance so wont be going anywhere soon. Either way after driving a number of alternatives the other month, theres not much out there that i actually like enough to wanna change, so this will be my baby for a while to come and as i said before i've become attached to her :D

If i had the cash an Alfa Brera 3.2 S Q4 would be sat on the drive but that is fantasy land :p

Loving your Beeza, you've done a great job with it!

I was always put off by red cars because of paint fading over time, but I have to say, yours looks mint!

Cheers gib, much appreciated for the kind words.

I'm really happy with the paint it's come out pretty well after what appeared to be 2 years of neglect from the previous owner

So it's payday tomorrow, time off work = more cash in my pocket, so major update on the way *touchwood* parts have been ordered from eBay, just need to pay for them. Should be here by the weekend :D

Just collected my Cupra bushes today... much smaller than I expected, however I just checked the part number with the one in your photos and they are the same...
Did you have yours fitted by a garage or did you do it yourself?

I had them done by a garage as the car was getting serviced and getting the brakes replaced so it was easier. Having observered the method, I'm glad I didn't try it myself in all honesty as the old bushes where fused into the wishbones and where tricky to get out, then fixing the wishbones back onto the car again tricky thanks to bolts shredding the thread :(

More Stuff Ordered and Wash and Wax Posed Pics

Thanks to my weekend away on a mates stag do being cancelled i had a bucket load of time and a few extra quid in me pocket

So,

Ordered 3 more little things in the form of:
  • New SEAT sport Tax Disc holder (remove the dealer special)
  • New Number plates with the Euro badge on the side (again to remove all dealer branding, and they look 10x better)
  • Central Sun Visor (once Dave confirms stock availability)

AND, went up to halfrauds and bought a box load of autoglym cleaning stuff which has done an immense job on the car for which i am well chuffed with.

Stuff used was purely, Kacher pressure washer to blast off surface muck, then two buckets, one with warm plain water, the other with hot water and and some autoglym body work shampoo, dried it off and then applied the Autoglym Super resign polish, buffed out and detailed with a brush, then lightly sprayed the car again with the hose pipe and then applied the autoglym aqua wax (as i didnt want to spend to much on it this time around) and buffed out with the cloth's included.

The wheels where done using the clean wheels, and finished with the tyre dressing which has given the wheels a nice shine and made the tyre's nice and black.

Exhaust cleaned using special metal polish

So Pics which i think speak for themselves:

Skirts are a massive improvement, very nice car you have there mate!

I like the skirts, they do add a certain zing to your car!

Cheers for the feedback guys, I'm really happy with the way that they turned out, makes the car unique and stand out that bit and not like every other FR on the road, only downside is that I'm getting alot more chavs in saxo's and fiesta's especially trying take me on now :(
