Yeah the strut brace reduces body roll.

I got a genuine SeatSport strut brace for sale, never been used. It's red with SeatSport logo on it.

I'll bring it along with me to the lincoln meet if you want to buy it. I bought it for £70 so make your offer. :funk:

A strut brace doesnt reduce body roll.. it does exactly what it says on the tin.. braces the suspention struts i.e stops the chassis flexing. You wont ever be able to notice the difference using a front upper strut brace unless you have a really sorted suspention set up. So basically they are just bling.

Anti roll bars are what reduces body roll mate.

Yeah thought it did. Can you feel an improvement in handling at all? When did you buy it matey?

I bought them both off ebay last Saturday and they came on Monday.

And a question about this strut brace guys, I got an adjuster on mine, should I have it tight pulling the chassis inwards (closer together) or should I have it pushing the chassis out?

And yeah, I mainly got it for people to look at when I open the bonnet instead of my boring case that covers the engine haha.

Mudflaps have arrived :funk:

After much pondering I decided to take it to a garage to get them fitted. They are not meant for my car so it's not a straight forward job. They are universal mudflaps so they have to be made to fit. (Drill holes, etc.)

This meant I had to take my wheels off!

And here are the mudflaps now my car is off the ramps.

What do you guys think?

If your interested in these mudflaps, I got them from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....2196863&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT#ht_500wt_922

Oh baby, coilover time. :funk:

They are FK AK Street's :D I have heard good reviews about them and they are fairly cheep. I got them for £220 off eBay. You can get them cheaper from other sellers off eBay. (£190 IIRC from DPM Performance.) But the free postage by ParcelForce 24/7 won me over.

I have got them on the minimum drop at the moment at 30mm. I'll be testing it soon to see how low I can go without it rubbing. I doubt I can get the full 100mm that it can drop to though haha.

I was jet washing my car when I found a little black dot on my rear bumper. I thought it was just some kind of dirt, so I pointed the jet wash at it to try and get rid of it...

Within under a second it just expanded to this..

I've posted this in the Car Care subforum to see if I can get any advice...

Looks like either you rear bumper has been resprayed before and perhaps isn't a great job... or you've applied too much pressure with the jet washer. You should never point the jet at full pressure at the car.

After being inspired by my mates Polo, I decided to de-wiper my rear wiper.

Here is a picture of what it looks like now.

It was a real pain getting the trim off to get the motor out. [:@]

I got a 24mm grommet from Halfords for a temp, I've ordered a 25mm grommet off eBay to replace it. :funk:

I've been a bit adventures and ordered a heat gun and some 3D red carbon vinyl.

I'm going to be having some fun with some parts on my car. :D

I'll keep you updated... Unless I make a complete fart of it.

Hey guys, update time. :funk:

I have fitted red carbon fibre vinyl wrap on parts of inside of my car.

I decided to do the bottom of my console and the stereo's plate surround at first as I could take these off and do it in my garage.

The next day I decided to do the cup holder and the steering wheel.

I got my spacers fitted today, I went with 20mm hubcentrics on the rear. At the same time I lowered my car some more and balanced it out as I've had my coilovers on for a couple of weeks now.

Looks good. Like how it's just a red border round the cd player. Nice and subtle.
Love the steering wheel too. That was a great idea. May have to try that if you don't mind.
