right then a couple of little updates:
Now spoken to forge and I will have my FMIC parts on Monday and touchwood will be fitted on wednesday morning, should mean my MPG will increase again as its gone through the floor since mapping it (average about 39 atm) probably due to a.) heavier right foot as I love the noise b.) cars been mapped for a FMIC thats not fitted so its probably over fuelling at the minute, lets see what happens.

I have vinyled the front lip as the black paint was really bad chipped and marked and was a tri colour lip (red white and black). It's not perfect as I couldn't remove the grill due to it already being broken in the the middle so it would have just smashed upon removal.
in order to complete it i had to make up a template for the curve of the grill:
use said template and mark out on the vinyl what i needed and then cut to shape:
then applied with a hair dryer. There are some bubbles but its not bad at all for a temporary fix:
