Goodies from Forge have finally arrived:

will be ringing unit 18 to book into get the FMIC fitted hopefully on wednesday next week now as thats my next day off unless they can come and get the car from work. We'll see

FMIC has finally been fitted by Unit 18, another top job as ever:

holds the power very nicely, and even after a proper drive home, no heat soak, lovely stuff, o and the MPG appears to have risen, and a deeper engine note as well, happy days :D

What type of accelerator pedal do you have on your car? i managed to fit the tt brake and clutch pedals but the accelerator is too small. I asume your pedal just slides over the top of your old pedal?

Did you buy a LHD pedal mate?

naa man i got a set of audi tt pedals. the brake and clutch are fine but the accelerator is too small. it has 7 rubber bits on it and tapers at one end. i have seen more square pedal with 8 rubber bits. i think this may fit?

surely the left and right hand drive pedals are exactly the same theyre just mounted on the opposite side of the car? if so does anyone know where i can get one of these accelerator pedals from?

i just looked at the pictures on page 5 and its the square pedal i need with 8 rubber bits on it. just got one on ebay =)

been a busy ol car day, with confirmation from Anglian Water that the ban has been lifted on the hose pipes I got a scrubbing and vinyling:

the old snow foam:

finished after Autoglym paint cleaner, shoe polish on the rub strips and a top coat of Aqua wax:

as you will notice I have vinyled wrapped the badges using the vinyl I was very kindly donated:

personally I'm not convinced If i like the rear badge dark, in order to work I think I need to tint the lights all over the car so it matches.

Whats everybody else's thought on the rear badge?
