Diesel Particulate Filter

A piece of shite in a box that takes carbon particals out of the exhaust.

It needs to be re-generated every so often to clear itself or it blocks and needs replacing at over £1k a time.

dpf is a diesel partical filter suppose to lower emissions but causes more problems than good lol

There shouldn't be any lag, that's the reason why the supercharger is there on the 1.4 TSI's.

Can't speak for the diesel though as I've not driven any of the 2.0 CR's

did you have change the hoses or just "plug 'n play" ?

Plug and play on mine mate using original hoses

Andrewfx1, what hoses size did you use ?

can't see why people pay huge sums of money for an uprated intercooler, toyosports do great value universal ones, plus it looks like it'd be easy enough to swap them over.

I am also interested by the hose that you have used on the universal intercooler

don't see why not. toyosports do loads of different sizes, going to take my bumber off tomorrow and do some measurements.
