hi, i recently had a stage 1 cc remap, iv enoticed tht my revs seems to stay high when changing gear especially in 1st and 2nd, also my turbo whistle sounds ore like a whoosh of air rather than a whistle like it used to sound like before a changed my TIP n had the remap, could it be a boost leak? thanks

i dont think its the clutch slipping as i did the 4th gear check thing n it seemed ok and its never slips or anything, i dont think it losing power but then again its jus been remapped and sometimes dosnt feel amazingly qwik

ive noticed on mine that the turbo makes a very loud sucking noise same as what your experiencing, im unsure what it is. it does not feel as quick as it did but i managed 0-60 in 6.1 so i dont think there is much lack in performance more the fact that im now used to the power. but apart from that

well i had it in midland VW today so they could adjust my timing on my remap (i wasnt running it on super unleaded before) and they never mentioned the turbo sound but said i need a new clutch sensor switch for the high revs problem, so its all good

u will get a substantially louder whistle under boost after fitting an uprated TIP, its normal as the air is now more free flowing

Don't suppose you have a part number or what model/year VW that has the same part, having problems locating one at a Seat dealer.

thanks.

i think its V1J0927189F. yh Seat dealers are completly useless IMO i always go to VW much more helpful
