Getting Her :

After looking through new car brochures throughout 2009 I decided I wanted to buy a new Seat Ibiza SC, the look of the car as well as the 0% deal seemed ideal for what I wanted. I went to Letchworth Autoway Centre and test drove the SE 1.4 version, I fell in love with it but wanted to go for the sport version, got it all priced up but backed out of it because I didn't quite have enough cash. Fast forward to April 2010, I had just got my Corsa C MOT'd and drove past the Seat garage, outside were a few MK5s and I just had to have one. I went in with my financial advisor (dad) and spoke to Audra who helped me choose the car I wanted. I did originally want the custom pallet blue but couldn't wait the 3 months for it to be built, she looked on the system and there were 3 in the country to my spec. I went for the Black Magic coloured version, signed some paperwork, paid the deposit and went home with a massive grin on my face. I went onto the Seat website and configured my car :

2 Weeks went, very slowly, with a few calls and a visit to the dealership to sign more paperwork and then on the 15th May 2010 I finally got my Brand New Ibiza! Extras I went for included :

Black magic metallic paint
17" Alloys wheel upgrade (Saga)
Tinted glass
Electric folding mirrors
USB & Aux input
Convenience pack

Pictures from the first day I got it, I didn't want to stop driving it!! :

ooo i like the black. Went for red myself..
what lowering springs were you considering by chance? would like some myself, but fear the SEAT springs don't go low enough (they told me they lower by just -20mm) and considering the ample arch gap, -20mm hardly puts a dent in it. Heard from other people that they are -35mm though, so now i don't know lol

Also, seen somebody's FR with factory lowering springs and it sits really low..its a blue one from europe is all i can remember, but it had a decent stance - adding to my confusion.

Wow, looks very good in that black colour !!!
Good base for the great effect of waxing :)

Put some spacers on the rear wheels.

Congrats man.

UPDATE :

Todays mod was a bit more simple, change the sidelights for some white LED jobbies.

I'm interested to know which bulbs there are too.

Do then throw up any errors on the dash - not even sure if the Ibiza would do that anyway but I know the Leon does.

I had some LED sidelights in my old mk3 and they started to flicker after about a month :(
