Brinkz mk2 LCR - Maria Estelle... R.I.P.

So i've finally collected my little 'rebel-star', a chrono LCR kitted out with all the options and only 13k on the clock.

As promised here is my mod thread, and i'm hoping it will be a busy place to be over the next couple of years - be warned though, I will be starting slowly.

And the mods began today. During the week I had ordered a custom 'R' metal plate for the footrest and thanks to the well written guide I had it fitted in 20mins.

And just to finish off for the night. I went to show the lady off to my mate and ended up parking behind this old VAG...

Well yesterday I changed my DRL's from these...

I also picked these up from the dealers...



Flaps fitted...



And yes I know she needs lowering - gotta get some warranty work done first.

Rear wiper removed and LED reg plate lights fitted (as well as another wash)...

Ebay rules when it comes to little mods!!! No errors so far on the reg plate LEDs...

Well seeing as this is the place where my babies life is recorded online for the world to see...







It hurts to see these pictures, but i'm hoping when she is fixed I can look back at them and they will be nothing more than faint scars.

For the record, I have told the insurance company that I want the car to be fixed by my local Seat dealership to give me some peace of mind - apparently they have a VW bodyshop just at the back of them and they come highly recomended.

You drink way too much alcohol, get behind the wheel of a BMW and then swerve across the road straight in to the side of a Cupra R - thats how you take the wheel off.

Am hoping the fact the wheel has come off and the car has spun absorbed a lot of the impact and it's purely damage to rear suspension. Reckon at least 3 wheels are buckled and a new bumper. also front windscreen to replace and airbags to replace/reset.
