So i've finally collected my little 'rebel-star', a chrono LCR kitted out with all the options and only 13k on the clock.

As promised here is my mod thread, and i'm hoping it will be a busy place to be over the next couple of years - be warned though, I will be starting slowly.

Enough with the text, everybody likes pictures...

...here she is on the forecourt...

...after I collected her - the Celica is my good friends, he kindly took me from Halifax to Hull to collect it so the least I could do was allow his car in the same picture as mine :p

And the mods began today. During the week I had ordered a custom 'R' metal plate for the footrest and thanks to the well written guide I had it fitted in 20mins.

Plain...

I also got myself a fancy tax disk holder...

Who says the Cupra R is crap on fuel - lol...

And just to finish off for the night. I went to show the lady off to my mate and ended up parking behind this old VAG...

That de-wiper looks sooooo good. How do you do it? Where did you get your bung from?

Not sure how you could be arsed with a dirty back window mind haha.

For someone going slow, you are not hanging about! I turned off my DRL's as soon as I got the car. May get round to fitting some LED units before I sell the car on

Looking good! What number plate bulbs did you end up using? No errors?

Looks like you went for a similar to mine. I went for one that was made for the mk6 golf with the VW 'R'

It hurts to see these pictures, but i'm hoping when she is fixed I can look back at them and they will be nothing more than faint scars.

For the record, I have told the insurance company that I want the car to be fixed by my local Seat dealership to give me some peace of mind - apparently they have a VW bodyshop just at the back of them and they come highly recomended.

Christ. You've only had it a month. What the hell do you do to rip the back wheels off??? That's bound to be a write off surely??? That much force would have done other damage.

You drink way too much alcohol, get behind the wheel of a BMW and then swerve across the road straight in to the side of a Cupra R - thats how you take the wheel off.

Am hoping the fact the wheel has come off and the car has spun absorbed a lot of the impact and it's purely damage to rear suspension. Reckon at least 3 wheels are buckled and a new bumper. also front windscreen to replace and airbags to replace/reset.
