The Storm Trooper - Bocanegra - LJA's RR

Welcome to my Reader's Ride Thread.


Owned my Bocanegra for 13 months or so now,
Its not been through masses of changes, and I had no intention of writing up a RR/Progress Thread, so there's not many pictures of progression either.

So the progress....



Purchased April 2012









This is how it stood for probably 9 months of my ownership.

Took it on a Camping/Road Trip - Loaded 4 People and Luggage. Lows?



Soon after out Road Trip MOT was due, passed with an advisory of tyres (which I knew before)

After it had passed I added some HID's

Had a detailing day, to get the car how I wanted it, trying to correct the paintwork, take out as many swirls as possible,





Also lowered it on H&R 40/25mm Springs, added pressed plates, vinyl wrapped the 'S' badge, tinted the headlights it 'light smoke tint film' and added the Gloss Black Cupra R Splitter

A small feature I found in the Ibiza. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this?






Interestingly, only work with £1 coins

Also sneakily in the background, TMC Tuning Box, after fitting the Forge and Tuning Box together, it feels like a completely different car!

Pulls extremely well in 1st / 2nd / 3rd gears!

This weekends tasks.

Also Re Vinyled my badge, as it began to peel!





Overall the car is getting there.

Handles fairly decent with the lowering springs/spacers combo.

I'd love to look into a rear ARB and coil overs, so watch this space.
