Hi picked up my Leon fr last week, absolutely in love with it! Couple of things I'd like to clear up with it though.

1, when in reverse no display comes up on the screen as it did with my 2015 Ibiza fr, is this normal? If not could I make it so it appears?

2, I've had a quick search but to no real avail, would the Carista app work on my car to do minor mods?

Cheers!:)

Hi, as I think you no longer get the front sensors on the fr as standard it no longer has ops with the rear sensors.
You will need to activate the ops using vcds or one of the others, plenty of threads on how to on here :)

Activating OPS with obdeleven

Activation of OPS
Select Control unit 10 (Assistance Situation)
Security access
Access Code 71679
Control unit Long Coding
Byte 2
Bit 0 Activate

I got an FR Techpack 66 plate and it has front and rear parking sensors. I also get the parkpilot display when I go into reverse, which I find quite annoying and I want to enable it myself. I've bought an OBDEleven for this.

I have rear sensors and turned park pilot on with obdeleven, works well although I feel like if I had them both taken away now as well as the tilting mirror I'd have no idea how to park

I'm actually wanting to stop park pilot turning on automatically when going into reverse. I'd rather press the button if I need it.

I'm expecting my OBDEleven to arrive shortly. So I'll post here for the OP and let you know if it's worth it. They have a christmas special on at the moment so it's a good time to buy it. From what I've read it's the best device you can get for VAG these days if you're wanting to modify some settings.

Yeah I got the obdeleven during the Christmas special, arrived a couple of weeks ago it's definitely worth the money, just the little things you can change like 1 click mirror fold instead of holding it down, it's great for £45

I too got the FR techpack, convenience pack 66 plate rear sensors were standard but no front sensors I only got those when I added the camera pack option as this then adds the front sensors too. park pilot displays as standard as well as the radar sensor image and warnings with sounds.
