aaargh

Well after 115,000 miles its done what was inevitable and fractured. My local VW specialist wants £300 to replace it, this includes the price of the pedal box and other parts, five hours labour and VAT. While this seems like a reasonable price for the job described to me, i would'nt mind...

Please can someone tell me how to disable the requirement to double unlock an Altea - i.e all the doors at one time. I have looked in the owner's manual but can not see any sign of how to de-activate it. Many thanks.
