actuators

Due to every single flap actuator failing in my climatronic system and the rarity of replacement parts in my region is it possible to gut newer working actuators (From different vents) and repair the old ones? do they share the same internals (between vents and flaps)? Any other advice is well...

ive been thinking of winding the actuator out abit on me lcr and just wondered if any 1 else as done this we use to do it back in me rs turbos day any info would be welcome thanks
